As a Firewise community we ask that everyone who does any cleanup work around their home, cabin or property (activities that would fall into the category of “Fire Prevention”) input all of their hours (which are called In-Kind Hours).
When they’re not fighting fires, many fire crews work on defensible space assistance.
This is where all of the Fruitland Firewise community In-Kind hours can benefit you as it pays for the fire crews to come to your property and assist you in enhancing the defensible space around your home/cabin and out buildings.
